"Twin Mandolin Slingers" Evan and Brian have been playing mandolin duets since 2013 and released their first album in 2016. They offer an eclectic program of duets ranging from Classical to Bluegrass to Western Swing.
Carlo Aonzo and Rene Izquierdo - Friday June 2, 2017 - 7:30pm
The classical duo of Carlo Aonzo and Rene Izquierdo have toured the world, recorded CDs together, and thrilled audience with their performances of Bach, Calace, Vivaldi, and Cuban and Latin music.
Don Stiernberg Trio - Saturday June 3, 2017 - 7:30pm
While still in his teens, Don Stiernberg learned to play the mandolin from the innovative and influential virtuoso Jethro Burns. Jethro referred to Don as his “graduate student”, hired him to play in his band, and guided him to a career as a professional musician which has already lasted for decades.
A leading exponent of jazz mandolin style, Don has nine recording projects of his own and appears on many others by a variety of artists in all styles.
